Dominique Brillantes is FilCan Idol Montreal’s total performer — a singer, dancer, actor, and emcee.
Born in Quezon City, Philippines and raised in Laguna, Dominique showed his potential when he won 6 awards in his school that included Mr. Montessori and “Babe” of The Press. Soon after that, he won second place in his first singing competition and eventually bagged Second Runner-up when he joined FilCan Idol 2010’s Adult Division.
Offstage, Dominique is an active member of his church, where he is often featured as a soloist. He also performs for other organizations and is also an in-demand emcee within the community and in the Philippines. He recently debuted as an actor, starring in the film Pur Laine, which has recently been selected as one of the finalists at FACINE Filipino International Cine Festival 2019.
His presence on stage is mesmerizing. He sees to it that his every performance is done as if it is his last — Dominique gives 100% on stage. His musical inspirations include Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Boyz II Men, Usher, and Luke James.
